It’s more circumstance by choice I think, as with many of us.
London is kind of by default, the counties I’ve lived in (Beds, Cambs and Leicestershire) aren’t known for their huge amounts of top breweries (Cambs is second in the UK with me though). I imagine Derbyshire will overtake London if I live here for a few more years. Your Shropshire rates are certainly impressive!
There are a few good bars in Leicester but the BrewDog is certainly in the top three, so in peacetime I was often there and the rates rack up!
I’m lucky my wife likes beer, so our holidays are often chosen with beer in mind. We do ‘other stuff’ when travelling, but always try and stay somewhere ‘beery’ when ever possible. Even the cruises we’ve been on have been influenced by the ports of call and beer destinations in those ports.
Surprised Mexico only country I had a tie for first. Also with some sake producers still to be allocated Japan will probably change since I’ve a bunch close regions there.
Here’s mine. Definitely seems like some countries have some clear heavy hitters. Others kind of more depend on whether you’re just drinking imports or whether you’ve been there.

No real surprises for me. Brazil was an odd one though. Only Brazilian beer I remember having was Brahma, which was awful, however it was the EU brewed version so it didn’t even count as Brazil!
Pleased to see I got a Spanish region (Catalonia) to 100 last week, that’s my first 100 outside of the UK.
Clearly need a tick from Argentina, no other real surprises but notice New York catching up fast on California, surprised Sweden “Skåne” was not higher but covid has stopped those quick trips across the bridge for some time now
