Aging Chimay Grande Reserves - is it feasible?

Hello fellow beer enthusiasts.
I have the surprising opportunity to buy “Chimay Grande Réserve Vieillie En Barriques (2018) Whisky Edition” locally.
Most reviews so far have described it as sweet, but when looking at Chimay Grande Reserve beers from past years, it seems to be that if you keep them for an extra 6-12 months they start going a bit drier.

Do you have any experience with this? Is it worth attempting or might I just as well drink it directly (it technically has already aged a bit I guess since 2018, but is described as sweet).

Cheers

Are you overthinking this? It’s only 2019.

I suspect it won’t dry out much
