Beer Mile in the Time of COVID

Or COVID, actually.

I’ll spend ten nights on Bermondsey Street starting 4 November, and want to get as much mileage out of the Beer Mile as possible. The web pages of every brewery and tap room I’ve checked imply that reservations are mandatory. If this is so, then simply rambling from one place to the next when the urge strikes seems out of the question.

How is the Beer Mile functioning in real life? Can I simply show up on a weekday and drink outside, assuming crowd size permits? Or is it reservation or nothing?

Seems to be back to normal, on the whole, other than places potentially limiting numbers
. But remember that most places are not open on a weekday so be prepared to go elsewhere.

Thanks. I can track opening hours on their websites. There seems to be a reasonable number of afternoon and weekday opening hours.
