Please mark these three beers as retired. The brewery has just released new versions of each made according to different recipes (info from their page on Facebook).
To clarify - that beer has adjuncts written all over it. OK, they didn’t use any peanut butter or biscuits but where does the intensive peanut aroma and flavor come from? Omnipollo is known for using artificial flavors in beer and not exactly disclosing it. Which brings us to another problem - if brewer doesn’t disclose ingredients how are we going to know if it’s flavoured?
Generally, one could infer from the name, but here the brewer is explicitly saying that no biscuits or peanuts were involved. From what I can say, there was no explicit representation that no adjuncts were used, but there was an explicit representation that none of the most likely adjuncts were used. I think, to stay on the safe side, this should not be considered flavored until we have verifiable evidence that adjuncts were used. Generally brewers state the adjuncts, especially for imperial stouts.
UK Admins: this appears to be a kveik IPA but is listed as a Brut. Is there any reason it shouldn’t be reclassified as IPA or Session IPA until there is a kveik category?
I was waiting for an automated categorization of beers according to the new style for quiet some time. Not sure if this ever happened but it looks like if admins are mostly doing the work. Thanks a lot for the effort!!!
This seems to just be a hazy double IPA with lactose, which is not a milkshake by the standards of this site, which are that a milkshake IPA contains lactose and some sort of flavouring.
All other flavoured sour IPAs have gone into sour IPA, so I think this should stay there too. Clearly a local admin agrees since it is verified.
