Sure then, all Aslin IPAs, all Goonda, Hysteria, Veil, Answer and Commonwealth. Just ignore the DIPAs for now. Most of the sour IPAs have been listed as sour/wild rather than IPA to my knowledge.
I could list every single one but seriously there are a lot.
The first four Aslin ones as IPA on their page are 3 Fruit IPAs and one that the description explicitly states West Coast IPA… In fact, going through the rest loads of them are conditioned on fruit or various other things.
As someone who actually drinks beers from these breweries, it’s much easier for you to point the ones out to me that are actually NEIPA not Cinnamon Crunch IPAs or whatever than it is for me who has to check every one.
Ok, cool. I always just kind of assume that fruit with shit tons of haze should still default to haze rather than fruit beer but i guess not everyone has the same operating mode. I try to avoid non categories whenever possible
We are redefining styles at the moment including adding a category for fruit IPAs. At some stage the admins will decide where hazy fruit IPAs go, but there’s no point changing them all now given there’s a good chance they’ll be need to be changed to something else any day now.
Ok cool. Ill give a list of for sure hazies from those breweries when i get a minute.
I normally just report back on beers the seperate way… and to be honest I may have done this already but difficult to keep track of them all!
When the new styles were vbeing discussed a German admin mentioned that all iced beers should be trated as Bock - Eisbock. If that is indeed the case then these beers should all be updated:
They can all be retired too as they were single kegs. Also I don’t believe that this one ever appeared:
Should be merged with this one:
On Untappdt the brewery clearly states that it’s the same:
Friends, many of you remember our Russian Imperial Stout Aleksandr Pokryshkin from the series dedicated to legendary pilots, which we first brewed in 2014. We haven’t brewed this stout since then, but after many requests, we have decided to repeat this brew!
The same thing happened to their beer Ivan Kozhedub - it was renamed to simply Ivan (possibly due to legal issues). Note that we don’t have two entries in this case. Only one: https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/victory-art-brew-ivan/284097/ with ratings stretching back to 2014, before the renaming.
I requested this change a while ago, but no action was taken.
This is most likely a double entry. Please fix.
Can the beers and their ratings listed below be moved to this brewery: https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/pressure-drop-brewing/34298/
wrong spelling and is probably some radler/shandy according to the name.
Double entry. Typos.
BTW do Admins actually check this thread? Its pinnend on top but the last posts havent been commented or solved.
Can you do some standardization on the following:
IPAs to bump to Hazy:
More in need of hazy switch:
More to switch to hazy
Annnnndd a few more. By the way, did anybody think of just blanket switching over beers with "DDH or triple dry hopped in title? I’m pretty sure these are all hazies.
Which is the one the brewery uses?
Second one - all the reviews say ‘clear amber’. Fourth and fifth ones - description says brett IPA. Changed the other two.
Went through the Veil ones as well, few of them are more complicated but did all the obvious ones.
I’d suggest to wait before sending the lists…If the staff go through with the style modifications, we might have Hazy, Imperial Hazy…so it would need a major review of all brewer’s listings at that time.
All of those listed were just regular IPAs. I left out all milkshakes, dipas or anything even with vanilla etc.
