BEERS: Issues Reporting - Please Post Here for modifications

With just a few exceptions, almost all of Verdant’s IPAs are considered NE style (by themselves, since that’s what they always intended to make), or if not they certainly belong due them being hazy as fuck. Most of them are still in the normal IPA category though, so below is a list of all the ones that could do with moving at some point. I’ve of course ignored doubles, sessions, and pale ales until the new style changes come, and a handful that would be considered more as “normal” IPAs.

For numbers 6 and 18 I submitted corrections with the descriptions too. And in the case of number 6 I think I forgot to mention the ABV is wrong too, only the very first batch was 7%, every rebrew since has been at 6.5% so it would be better to change that now I think.
Cheers.

Yep, problems. Makes you want to give up listing. I fill in everything just as I’ve done before and it doesn’t work on IE or Chrome. Make it more user friendly and make it work. I’ve spent half an hour on two new brews and just get frustrated. Then I give up.

Ugh… nobody likes that… Works for me on Firefox without any hitches. For technical issues, though, it’s best to message @joet and/or @services with a detailed description of what happens (or does not happen).

Reported this one a while back and it’s not been amended. Could result in duplicate ratings:

I added Mysig and then subsequently discovered that it’s the Hygge which, for whatever reason, has been renamed:

I’ll leave it to an Admin as to whether the feel it should stay as a Porter or changed to a Smoked.

Since when was it impossible to add photos to a beer? :scream: Anyway, this new beer from Gweilo and Magic Rock has an image available on Facebook that can be added to it.

Added I reckon… strange you couldn’t… though it would’ve honestly been better if whoever added it waited till the beer was officially out and had all the ABVs and descriptions and stuff

Just seen that the BrewDog collabfest Malmo Beer has two entries.

I submitted a correction for those on release day
That was almost a month ago. Seems we are in dire need of more admins here. Poor Marko…

Also these
https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/left-handed-giant-uiltje-woodland-creatures-v2/673632/ was a rebrew of the original https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/left-handed-giant-uiltje-woodland-creatures/616431/
literally no difference between them so doesn’t deserve its own entry.

Maelk should be spelt with æ.

Alias is not working for this beer.

Actually, two. But nice catch.

The 2017 one was actually a random R&D IPA with spruce tips which, according to their press release or something, inspired the Spruce Tip Sculpin. Did some cleanup, moved a rating, retired the R&D, now it’s all fine and correct.

This was a strange bug… killed the alias and was surprised to find all the reviews there… added the description and the pic back…

Somehow the alias ended up with all the reviews assigned to it, while it pointed to a deleted original version, which apparently contained the picture and the description…

This looks like the same beer to me. Although I can’t believe 6 users rated the version with a typo.

:+1:

This beer is brewed by a Polish brewery called Hedgehog but (not for the first time) it’s been added under the Surrey brewery, Hedgedog.

This should be a Traditional Ale (until we get the Kvass style):

This beer – https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/mala-praga-yellow/669265/ – should be called:

Mala Praga Unfiltered (Süzülmemis)

And the proper name of this one – https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/mala-praga-black/669266/ – is:

Mala Praga Dark (Qara)

I submitted these changes through feedback but I think they didn’t get through.

There’s a lot like this in terms of Kvass.

Just spotted there’s still two entries for Northern Monk’s winter seasonal “Festive Star”.
https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/northern-monk-festive-star-spiced-mocha-porter/307163/
https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/northern-monk-festive-star-xmas-mocha-porter/471323/

The only difference is that the labelling has varied between years. Sometimes they’ve written “Xmas Mocha Porter” and sometimes (most times if I remember correctly) “Spiced Mocha Porter”.
Suggest keeping the original entry (spiced) and moving over all the ratings from the “Xmas” one and setting it as an alias in case they use that labelling again in the future.

Also the IBUs (25) and description from the alias-to-be are correct and can be copied over.
