No. It’s sort of on my long to-do list but I won’t likely prioritise it because the breweries on that strip just aren’t very exciting.
Not me
I should do sometime, maybe if there’s a London gathering in the future, or someone overseas visits
Compared to Bermondsey it’s a bit of a ‘You’ve tried the best … now try the rest’ !
I might sometime. Kind of looks like the DC Comics of London breweries but maybe trying their taprooms would give me a chance to try some of their better stuff.
I’ve contacted them via their FaceBook Page: Blackhorse Beer Mile
Only two places will be open on the Tuesday (9th May) I wanted to go (Big Penny Social and Signature).

Of course you also have the Brixton Beer Trail now.

And Penge to Sydenham Sojourn.
I don’t think it has been officially branded, but one could easily do a nice Hackney beer trail. It’s mostly pubs/taprooms but the quality level is pretty high.
The Axe
Red Hand
Kraft Dalston
All Good Beer
Pembury Tavern
Hackney Tap
Hackney Church
The Experiment
Cock Tavern
Baxter’s Court
Can add in 40ft Brewery as well.
You could! I haven’t been there in years, even though it’s about a 15-minute walk from my house. Is it still just the shipping container? I don’t recall there being a great selection last time I visited.
I do go to the Dusty Knuckle, a neighbour of 40ft, as they have some fantastic baked goods.
Only had a 4 or 5 of their beers on plus a cider but I quite liked the set up.
Is there a Golden Mile in London? I could go for a full day of piping hot goldes.
Yeah, went there on the opening Sunday last May, I even managed to collect the commemorative pint glass.
Wrote it up here: BeerViking: Crowds turn out for Walthamstow brewers
Then a couple of weeks ago I went back to check out Pretty Decent, as that opened more recently.
It’s all a nice, friendly set-up, though yes, it is a fair way from end to end.
plenty of golden showers offered
I’ve actually did this back in Jan 2022, but didn’t know that it was a thing. MrsSHIG and I had a date weekend, she recommended hitting these breweries/tap rooms and then we took in a theater for her part of trip.
Fixed it up in places. Not as much work as with Bermondsey, nowhere near really, but still some. Needed to add a place (the Wild Card brewery tap), fix the working hours on pretty much all and locations on some.
One thing - we don’t add that winery and that Yonder thing (not related to the brewery). But we DO have the new Pretty Decent place which the official site doesn’t, so yay. Also, @BlackHaddock - Pretty Decent works on Tuesdays too. https://www.ratebeer.com/p/pretty-decent/102906/
I had spotted Yonder and assumed it was a Yonder tap. Subsequently I watched Celebrity Hunted, and one of the contestants went to Signature Brewery and then hid in the climbing walls at Yonder.
Managed to get to Signature Brew, Pretty Decent, Beeblefish & Exale with a friend back in March. They’re not breweries I ever seek out, and not much that we tried was terribly exciting. I’d say Beerblefish was my favourite beer wise, just because they brew some weird stuff that may or may not work.
