An Imperial Stout @ 10.5% without extras or barrel. Apparently still made by some. Pretty good too.

My notes from previously said look for this one fresher next time. But the shop says it arrived in the country past best before. What a discounted conundrum. The stewed and boozy notes are stronger but the herbal/ twiggy bitter end is still operative. One I like more than most people, it seems.
