I’m OK with letting it run for ‘outside’ thru august!
Watching Hamlet at Shrewsbury Castle. A great Flanders Red aged in Bordeaux Barrels by Wilderness Brewery and a lovely natural woody cider Collab betwixt Wilderness and Welsh Mountain Cider.
Drinking beer at the campsite, proper camping glassware for enhancement of the overall experience. Santé-25! was a banger, great use of different citrus fruit zests in combination with a dry and bitter saison. Two Chefs Pornstar Martini Sour, not something I’d usually buy, but I felt adventurous and I like the brewery. Kettle sour, medium heavy on the vanilla, passion fruit. No idea what a Pornstar Martini tastes like, but this is a nice drink on this warm summer evening.
Walhalla Draugr Imperial Brown Ale to conclude the evening. Not a big fan of brown ales, but this one reminds me so much of one of my all-time favourites, Great Divide Hibernation Ale, I love it. Takes me back to the time I found out what craft beer other than Belgian Blond-Dubbel-Tripel could be like.
^^ that’s the Woodshop 9th Anniversary beer, which as far as I can tell this is a keg from 2014(?)
