Is this brewer really Retired?
If so should all their beers be retired?
Are their beers now brewed at the Kulmbacher brewery?
Is this brewer really Retired?

The Hacker beers have been brewed at Paulaner since before Ratebeer I believe, so we always had them listed there.
As far as I can see most Werner beers were last touched a decade back, I guess they were moved over when the smaller breweries closed - that was before we had the contract brewing system in place.
I don’t think it hurts to have the breweries as empty stubs, at least they inform the user what has happened with the brewery and the beers.
They are franchises I believe, but in Munich Paulaner owns the building as well. Im not sure it is neccesary to add a (Paulaner Group) to the name, it is long enough with the city designation in the end.
Yeah the current brewing place should be indicated, I am sure there are a lot of these kind of cases in the DB, at least for Germany we did not go systematically through all breweries when we introduced the contract brewing mechanic.
Whitehorse brewing LLC ( the brewrery for whitehorse beer) s actually located at
824 Diamond Street, 15530 Berlin, United States
On ratebeer the brewery URL says its
400 Adios Drive Suite 20, Washington, Pennsylvania, 15301,
This address is actually just a taproom (place) in washington PA. Its not were the beer is brewed.
Probably JMHO - we should change the address on
to: 824 Diamond Street, 15530 Berlin, United States
Fixed, added the new place, retired the old one.
160+ edits after, this is not only fixed, but dragged into 2019 style-wise… The country of Finland owes me a beer.
European style addressing won’t work well for many in the USA. State should always be included.
This brewery: https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/apu-brewery/41180/
Is a duplicate of this one:
Please place an order with the garbage pit https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/nemo-namenlos-unlisted/153480/
Here there are different types of beer (kvass, non-alcoholic and others) combined in Pale Lager - Intl / Premium and various manufacturers. Although it is written that “VERIFIED, OUT OF PRODUCTION” but continue to produce.
Admins have set this beer up on purpose. Presumably because certain non-beers get deleted and then people add them again.
Dang I’m an admin and didn’t even realize this. Sure could have used it today when I was looking a beer up by Le Baladin that sure as hell exists and probably just needed to be added properly.
Could someone please do a quick clean-up on these guys so their beers are either all DUBCO or all Destination Unknown?:
Did a thorough one, fixing styles, retiring stuff and removing duplicates as well.
From UK forum thread… Autumn brewing (who were taken over by Paul Hughes from Black Storm, which is presumably why his name was put on the entry) are no more, see blog post on link:
The brewery entry needs closed and the 3 autumn beer entries out of production
A couple of breweries here in need of a logo update
https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/truth-hurts-brew-co-prev-blue-square-brewery/28916/ is still using the logo of their previous name.
New logo is here:
https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/wylam-brewery/2825/ is still using the old fashioned logo which they stopped using in 2014.
Would be good to put the one that’s actually in use:
This brewery: https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/cerveja-letra/40973/
Should be deleted because the correct brewery is this one: https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/fermentum-engenharia-das-fermentacoes-lda/13694/
The only Beer rating of the incorrect brewery (https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/cerveja-letra-oak-late-harvest-wild-grape/763033/) should be merged here (https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/cerveja-letra-editions-on-oak-late-harvest-wild-grape/763511/)
