Inspired by a great stat from the UK forum (Thanks a lot)

I have stolen the principle.

“Just as a reminder points are allocated as follows: Top rater of beers from a county gets 50 points, 2nd 49 points and so on for each person in the top 50. This is repeated for each county, and then totaled. Points are allocated in the order people appear on the top 50 list even if the have rated the same amount of beers as someone else”.

I have started creating “Europe” , It will take some time. After the first 13 countries this is the list with +100 points. But it will change a lot I think.

@HenrikSoegaard, this ‘European List’ will take you forever. Thanks for the German one and also for attempting to try and do the whole of Europe, there will be a huge amount of raters on that list. Do you intend to list everybody or just the top 1,000?

13,5 countries so far. (Doing Estland) European in countries with Ratebeer is difficult. Especialy Kaukasus. I once saw a list of Ratebeers european countries and I think I can find it again. Just rated a place in Cyprus and it was counted as European.

Lost the crown of American Emperor Rater to travlr a couple of years ago, and Canadian King Rater to @mcberko last year.
For some time it was nice to be able to say “I’m the top rater in the Americas” :slight_smile:

I don’t think I will be challenging the leader board for the European Cup this year, although a late run from Wales might get me over the 100 points if I am lucky.

I await the final table ‘with baited breath’.

Gibraltar is difficult. I have decided to give 50 points to the leader and no points to the raters with one rating. +/- 49 points is not fair.
