Everyone else at the Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting loved it, but I didn’t.

Crumpton Oaks Pear Cider - I expected it to be bad, but not this bad. A pitiful 1.8 from me.

Bought a can of Kona Longboard Premium Lager or whatever it’s called as train beer. Odd stuff tasting stuff. Scored a 2.0.

Even worse I forgot I had some beers on me yesterday so no train beers at all.

I’ve been pretty lucky lately, nothing awful. One of the most disappointing beers I’ve had in a while was during a Vocation tap takeover. In the middle of a great beer night I had this shameful thing:

First beer I had on my Californian Adventure this year was this Mexican can, was in a hot kitchen but it still only got a 2.1 from me.

@BlackHaddock Waaaaat?

The clue was “but with our own twist”, which means “and we failed”.

That would go down well at the Tallinn Crap Beer Festival!

Got a can of this beer lined up (although not brewed in the UK):

Gonna pre-emptively say that it’s shite, and also thank you to our friends at AB-InBev!

These two were pretty shit!

This beer was so bad, there is a video of me punching it (and drainpouring it):

Superstition cherry ginger lime cider. I don’t understand the hype behind this cidery/meadery. This was just soda with syrupy Jolly Rancher flavors. No way will I drop $30 or whatever on their blueberry mead now.

Due to lockdown I have been hoovering up all the supermarket offerings over the last year, within those I have had a few shockers but non more than this

The current fad for alcohol free beers has seen many of the big boys trying not to miss out and they seem to have launched anything just to get a piece of the action.

One time at a tasting @MrChopin brought the whole line of Bud Light cheladas.

Through various trips to non beer regions, I definitely feel I’ve had the fortune to explore the full range of 0.5-2.5 beers. Then again, I typically rate pretty low. I don’t even give decent pale lagers more than a 2.5 or so.

On another note, when I look at my ratings, it doesn’t work to click score and see my lowest rated at the top. @services ?

Lately there was this one:

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/windhoek-lager/4622/

I also had the (mis)fortune in early 2021 of finding the beer that took Bud Light off the bottom spot:

Most of my worst beers come from Beer 52 and are highly rated on here ! For example

I didn’t even try the Brew York Rhubarbara Streisend. Traded it with a friend (who likes that way out kind of stuff). His verdict ? “Disgusting” !

Gave a 1.6 to this Beer 52 fake brewery travesty:
