I have been following the development of craft beer in China since Great Leap Brewing opened its doors in Beijing in October 2010. My current verified count of craft breweries in Greater China (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) is over 400, so there is plenty of scope to explore for the beer traveller.
