In my earlier days of rating I’d probably have put the Alex and the Brunswick on equal footing. But while i like the atmosphere of the Brunswick, the beers bore me. I grow ever fonder of the Alex.

I’d hoped to make that Friday recently but events transpired against me.
I’ll be in Derby this coming Wednesday to attempt to replicate this crawl, google maps seems to indicate most places are open all day throughout the week but I’ll check again beforehand. If anyone is around and wants to meet for a couple of halves somewhere let me know.
Moving on to Sheffield on Thursday. Mostly around the Kelham Island side but I’ll never get around everywhere I want to visit. First world problems!
Unfortunately Wednesday is the one day this week I definitely can’t make ! I was thinking of going Thursday or Friday though …
