If COVID allows, I plan on being in Edinburg from Feb 10-15. I’ll be staying in the Holyrood area (near Museum of Edinburgh). I think I have a pretty good list of the places I need to get to, but if anyone want to meet up, let me know.
Very central, lots of good pubs walkable from there. I think that’s the school holidays, but might be able to make one night out. Maybe one of the locals @cgarvieuk, @AshtonMcCobb (or me!) could host a bottle share? I’ve a Stone Berlin magnum I’ve been waiting for an occasion to crack open!
i would but… that’s school holiday week and im not sure of plans yet but probably away
Yep, would be great to meet up! Can host or come to Craig or James, and can also can open a few things at my shop on another day.
I’m still on for these dates. Staying down in Holyrood area. I can bring a few beers (trying to travel light). Any requests? I’m in Idaho so distro is limited to Pacific Northwest breweries. Styles?
as it happens I may be up there at the weekend 12/13th
Ashton…what is your shops name so I can swing by?
Steve is a great guy! I’ve drank hundreds of beers with him I suspect.
Edinburgh is one of my favorite cities. Beautiful.
I can pick this up for Ash - he runs Appellation Wines in the Comely Bank part of Edinburgh, EH4 1AW
