Sadly yes… I use boxes from where I order beer from and they always carry a logo or some advertising… but I’m doing it for over 10 years that way and never was a box stolen…
If DHL wouldn’t be so expensive (31.99€ instead of 18.99€) I would use them anytime. Their service is great and they deliver very fast here.
I still can’t understand how they can lose a package when it has tracking. What’s the point of tracking then?! In Estonia I would make a complaint to the Consumer Protection Board, I’m sure you have similar agency? If nothing else, they should at least pay you back that 18.99E as the package wasn’t delivered…
The parcel at Hermes is secured up to 500€ - so I had to fill out a form with the contents and the value and normally will get back the money hopefully within the next half year… But this takes time…
I received a fantastic box from Gabriel (Erzengel) on Wednesday filled with 20(!) beers of all kinds and fitting very well with my likes off low ABV, well made beers and local styles. Lots of lovely goses and berlinner weisse.
In addition lots of extra gifts, honey, biscuits (very tasty) chocolate lime toffees, jelly sweets and cheese (how did you know!?) ooh and some bottles of undaberg bitters.
After a few setbacks that Santa unfortunately could not do anything about, I received a great package from Poland from my Santa yesterday! (Unfortunately no idea who my santa is).
Yes. That was me. Sorry Tom for being so late, but first UPS lost the package and then DPD destroyed another one… This was my third attempt. Good that it`s there.
DPD “destroyed” a package? Like, on purpose or accidentally? It’s not illegal to ship alcohol anywhere within Europe, is it? Hope you’ll get reimbursed for those packages, that really sucks.
