For how long though? Always gypsy style emporers.
See if it becomes more established/long term before thinking about changing county. If they move the business address…then yes fair enough. One to keep an eye on.
Happy to keep my Leicestershire rates!!
Yeah I think we should wait and see what happens with Emperor’s.
Dugges have taken over brewing responsibilities for the scaled up versions of his (outstanding) homebrew efforts. As far as I know Damian hasn’t actually brewed anything himself under the Emperor’s brand since this has been happening (at least not that’s been released yet), either on his own or using BTE’s equipment, so it would seem a bit silly to change it just yet.
I can’t find the post right now but IIRC he is/was intending to share BTE’s premises (having his own tanks etc there), however (again IIRC) this was announced before the Dugges thing happened so things may have changed now. If that does turn out to be the case then I think that absolutely will need a county change, but yeah, it’s one to keep an eye on.
I was mistaken! https://www.instagram.com/p/C6iptD5tzoG/ photo taken in front of the brewery sign on BTE’s premises. This was posted 3 weeks ago and appears it’ll be the first beer brewed there. Not been released yet obviously.
Still though, agree with Colin that it’s perhaps worth keeping the registered address for now and seeing if that changes and/or it looks like this shared space with BTE is a permanent thing.
Not sure when it will be official, but I was speaking to ine of th organisers at Egham yesterday and he mentioned that Ascot will now be rebranding entirely to Disruption is Brewing.
surprised its taken that long
easy job to convert and about time having to continually delete Ascot name when adding beers!

Hey, you didn’t need to re-register. You can go to the Forgotten password option, choose your old nick and reset it. You’ll get an email, pick a new PW, which won’t affect your Ratebeer PW and be able to get into the forums with your regular acc.
Jocks become Geordies? Well I never, The Broons will be chomping …
How many more regions are they going to move to before they close?
They started off as Dunhelmians. I’d like them to eventuallly become Sand Dancers.
The description of this brewery Heritage Brewing Co. (inc William Worthington Brewery) (ratebeer.com) is well out of date.
To sum up recent happenings.
- Worthington White Shield not brewed here for a number of years - and brewing of it stopped in 2023.
- National Brewery Centre closed n October 2022.
- Since then Heritage beers have been brewed at Burton Bridge.
- Owners of Heritage brand purchased Burton Bridge brewery in July 2024.
- Full range of both breweries continues to be brewed.
Hope somebody can sort this out
Had a beer from a new UK brewery. Am told it is from Croydon. Anyone got any insight? On UT but no details.
Obviously, this is in the UK admins wheelhouse, but it seems very suspicious. The website doesn’t provide much Local | Locally-Brewed, Plant-Powered, Better-For-You Beer (drinklocal.uk) and I bet it’s commissioned at some big beer somewhere to fool people in to thinking they are supporting local brewery.
