May not be worth taking action at the moment but it transpires that Thames Side Brewery were only sub-tenants at their new location. The bar - Last Hop - is a seperate business. Thames Side decided to end the relationship and were kicked out with immediate effect. Therefore the brewery is currently homeless and not brewing. I wonder if they owned the equipment?

Bump.

Yes I was able to verify this so you’ve entered everything correctly to the best of my knowledge. West Highland Breweries is their registered company name but they trade as Glen Spean Brewing.
I see Jura’s logo says “Est 2017” but going off their social media and Untappd data it doesn’t look as if they commercially released anything until 2021, so I’ve put that as the year established for now.

Same beer? Alias? Or, the first brewed in Berlin and the latter in Scotland? “Brewed in Ellon” is easy to see on the can.

Most beers from full circle have (UK) in the title even though this isn’t part of the brewery name. Only a small thing but if (UK) isn’t in the brewery name it shouldn’t be the standard name for the beers either.

I know this isn’t a high priority

This BrewDog closed in November 2021 when the lease ran out (according to their own twitter)

https://www.ratebeer.com/p/brewdog-leeds/36657/

I have recently added this beer
https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/conwy-red/1060700/

However, I have since noticed that ALL the recent reviews for this beer
https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/conwy-autumn-red-hydref-coch/132490/
are for the beer I added.

I would suggest that they are actually two different beers because the name, strength and description are all different. Heck, they are even different styles !

Is it possible to transfer across the incorrect reviews ?

According to companies house Encoder have change their name to Codebreaker

https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/encoder-brewing/48918/

Companies house page.

And Codebreaker website

UK admin(e)s - particular reason why this:
https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/aspall-imperial-cyder-harvest-290/902881/

is separate from this:
https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/aspall-imperial-vintage-suffolk-cyder-bottle/160162/

@imdownthepub you may know? I have one that’s no. 291, so I found it weird for 290 to be a different entry.

Certainly appear to be the same, despite the claim of a single years harvest. Now alliased.

Although Mr Grundys brewery https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/mr-grundy-s-brewery/12555/ is now closed, most (if not all) of their beers are still being brewed by Black Hole https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/black-hole-brewery/8382/
This year I have drunk 1914, Lord Kitchener and Sniper and have also seen Big Willie (at least) on tap in pubs. These beers need to be aliased across to Black Hole somehow.

These beers are the same.

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/braybrooke-mondo-bbq-helles-maple-edition/1060524/

The second one appears right as it includes mondo in the name.

Oddly enough they were both added a day apart and verified a day apart.

Are all beers from OGV Taproom brewed by Burnside Brewery?
From the bottle above:
«Brewed and bottled in Mulben, Moray, Aberdeenshire AB556YB»
Is this Burnside Brewery?

The same information on OGV Black Gold No 1 and No 2, brewed at Burnside according to RateBeer.

I tried this beer last night

https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/phantom-caravan-of-love/895723/

On untappd has the 2022 beer as a different version. In this instance I tend to agree. The beer appears now to be a paler hazy New England style Ipa when compare to the 2021 version.

Both have the description: All Ekuanot IPA

2021 version

2022 version

Should this be added as a new beer with the old one retired?

Chris

Maybe they just suck at brewing consistency? :joy:

Cwrw Ial https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/cwrw-ial/20078/ now also brew beers under the Crank name (I’ve just added one)

Yes, spotted this a while back, wasn’t too sure how to deal with it, it does look like the brewery name remains as Cwrw Ial and Crank is just branding.

I think probably the new one should be added but as SHIG says it could just be down to the vagaries in their process.

Possibly but not sure we will ever know.
