Hawkshead owners Halewood Wines made the core brewing team redundant at the start of Lockdown 1.0 in March 2020. One year on and they’ve now got back together and set up a new brewery, Lakes Brew Co. in Kendal.
Given their size and amount of ratings I thought this news might be of interest to many of you. I’ve not actually had many beers from Hawkshead, but I loved their Tiramisu Stout and Tonka Shake Stout. I’m looking forward to seeing what Lakes Brew produce.
