Just noticed this in What’s Brewing, possibly missed it elsewhere and it’s hardly surprising given the take over, but still sad news.
From 25 January 2019:
Simon Emeny, Chief Executive of Fuller’s, commented:
"This deal secures the future of both parts of our business including protecting the heritage of the Griffin Brewery in Chiswick, which was particularly important to the Fuller’s Board.”
That didn’t last long then. The Griffin Brewery site was always worth more than the total sale.
