While i ADORE sake being on RB id personally keep the monthly styles to beer ones.
I was going to filter them but was surprised by what I’d found.
There lots of interesting things there. Like Sake taking top 3
but if based on average the usualy impy seems to be winning till you see the ice cider
Scottish Ale beats Impy stout!
And really, the performance of lambic here deserves some explanation. Is this because most of the young are near yearlings?
Scottish Ale…only if it was the long defunct MacAndrews.
You’d want to normalize the deviations. Also small numbers are going to be a problem - whilst there are (presumably) hundreds of ratings for some styles making you confident that there really is a deviation, I’d bet the sake style only have few ratings and the apparent deviation is just a meaningless cluster.
