I’m a little late on this discovery, but it looks like two Hong Kong breweries have merged :
“We are so pleased and excited to announce that as of today, 18 November 2017, Black Kite Brewery and Kowloon Bay Brewery have merged. The combined company will continue to maintain both companies’ brands under a single management team.
Combining these two companies provides YOU with a more extensive and diverse portfolio of beers. As one team, we will be able to introduce even more classic and new styles to the market.
The company will maintain its headquarters in Wong Chuk Hang and operate its manufacturing facilities in both the Tsuen Wan and Wong Chuk Hang locations.
We will keep you updated during the integration.
We look forward to catching up with you very soon!
All the best,
Michael Bardill, Daniel Gallie, David Gallie, Ging Van”
How does a situation like this get dealt with? Black Kite and Kowloon Bay are (were?) independent brewers, but it looks like their brands will remain separate. Maybe an admin can weigh in on this.
