I am not aware of any Kombucha with significant alcohol (even though GT cranberry is pretty tasty) in my area. However my wife was trying Kombucha at Jungle Jim’s ( they have a fairly good sized selection of Kombucha at their Kombucha bar) and said that one of them was 8% ABV.
Unity Vibration from Ypsilanti MI is probably the most well known maker of higher alcohol kombucha. A good number of brewers also are designated “full brew” or something like that, acknowledging that their alcohol range is higher than .05…but still not that much higher than 1.5 or so.
I thought about kombuchas (and Jun) especially with the fermented alcoholic beverage (apart from wine and liquors) in mind
