New top 10 beer!

Haven’t had a 4.8 in a while, but I suppose the 4.7 I had a couple months ago is in a 17 way tie for 4th place
I don’t use the app, so the lame ass slider hasn’t been a problem getting bogus terrible or great beers.

It’s similar for me. A 4 already means a beer is excellent at what it does, but every tenth above that gets harder to hit. I do get 4.2-4.4 on a more or less regular basis though (because I go to good festivals and try to hunt beers I think I’ll like).

4.5+ is about 1%, 4.6+ is 0.5%, 4.7+ is 0.25%, 4.8+ is 0.13%, and 4.9+ is 0.06%

:+1:t2:
I’ve had another 4.7 since my last post, and two 4.5’s in my last 15 rates…on a roll!

I remember a guy from Arizona who used to rate about 90% of the beers he tried as 5.0. Whoever had him as a friend must have seen the top 10 message for him constantly, lol.

Wow, 10,000 rates later and I never gave anything higher than a 4.6. I guess I don’t believe in perfection - but you’d think i would have at least a couple of 4.7s or 4.8s by this point. Maybe it’s time to reevaluate my personal top 50
