Looks like Lupulo is closed now

Google says permanently, their web temporarly
Iâve come across some weirdness where admins seem are writing âclosedâ in the name of several places instead of actually marking them as out of business, a confusing and contradictory method that will no doubt confuse visitors and goes against the built in functionality we have on Ratebeer to handle closed venues.
These American ones:
-
https://www.ratebeer.com/p/mcladdenâs-irish-publick-house-closed-aug-2015/29173/
Mark as out of business, remove datestamp from name -
https://www.ratebeer.com/p/park-tavern-dallas-closed-in-2014/34370/
Mark as out of business, remove datestamp from name -

Mark as out of business, remove CLOSED from name -
https://www.ratebeer.com/p/the-draft-house-closed-according-to-foursquare/33053/
Mark as out of business, remove closed from name, remove completely unnecessary foursquare mention since we donât use that for venues, Untappd does. -

Mark as out of business, removed CLOSED from name -

Mark as out of business, removed CLOSED from name -

Mark as out of business, removed CLOSED from name
Also this Polish one
-
https://www.ratebeer.com/p/przystanek-browar-store-closed-sklep-zamkni281ty/47214/
Mark as out of business, removed CLOSED (and Polish translation) from name
And this one for Brasserie Dupont, should be marked as out of business obviously but the title is actually useful in this case (unless it can be written in the description instead)
And finally this odd one. As far as I can tell there is no suggestion of this place even being closed so Iâll assume this is very old information, I think itâs completely unnecessary to write ânot closedâ in a title because this is implied by it not being listed under the out of business section on places pages, so that can be removed. Also it would probably be helpful if their website was actually added - http://thebarrelheadspringfield.com
Thereâs a whole bunch of other discrepancies like this going on with breweries too, resulting in dumb UI at best, contradictory information at worst. Particularly bad in South Africa I noticed, but thereâs some in other countries too. Iâll try and find relevant admins to handle those, if not Iâll make another post here.
These were actually edited by users, not admins. Figure they found it easier to edit the name than notify us to actually retire them. Appreciate your effort!
Feel free to dump these here as you find them. We know what to do with them.
Ah yes I forgot users used to be able to edit places, think that was before my time here! Would love to see that return actually, except maybe keep it just for Premium members or those who have been here at least 1-2 years or so, so the more trusted members are using it who wouldnât abuse it like that.
Btw the breweries I mentioned in my last post, turns out they are actually closed but also redundantly have âCLOSEDâ as part of the name too, so itâs a minor UI issue and nothing more. I donât know if you or someone else can be bothered to take the time to remove that from all of them but if anyone does hereâs a list of the offending ones:

Kowloon Bay Brewery should be in the New Territories, not Tsuen Wan. Also, the HK Brewcraft location in Tsim Sha Tsui has closed.
And on the Mainland, NBeerPub in Beijing should have â(Beijing)â added to the name, as they have just opened a second location in Shenzhen.
Thanks!! and Cheers
Closed breweries do not have âCLOSEDâ in their names; they display with the text â(Not In Production)â (or â(Retired)â in the mobile app), but even that is not part of their stored names, itâs an adornment for the display only. Their URLs have the string â-closedâ included in them, but that is a site implementation technicality; the exact format of URLs is not something users really need to concern themselves with in general (you wonât even see it in the app), nor are they guaranteed to never change.
Sorry but you are very much mistaken there, Ernest. @marko has already fixed those mentioned in my post. if you had read my posts fully you would have seen that I referenced exactly what you are saying. Iâm fully aware of the âNot in Productionâ adornment as you put it, hence why these CLOSED titles were stupid and redundant. I think the âNot in Productionâ tag is perfectly visible and understandable to all users so there was absolutely no need for an admin to do what they did.
Also, -closed does NOT get appended to URLs for breweries no longer in production, nor should it, and Iâm not sure why you think I am concerned about URL formatting as I didnât even mention that anywhere in my post.
Iâm sure pages in Google Cache or Archive.org will confirm this for you if still donât believe me. Or just ask Marko since heâs the one who took care of them. They absolutely 100% had CLOSED added to the name by an admin which was completely unnecessary, Iâm not making it up.
For example the first one said âWharfdale (Skipton) Closed. CLOSED. (Not in Production)â. I think you can agree that redundancy was not helpful for anyone.
Yup, LazyPyro informed us of the entries that actually did have closed & similar in their names and those words were subsequently removed.
I wasnât aware they were already taken care of since there was no mention that they had been when I last read this thread. They certainly donât get anything added to their name when they are closed; perhaps they did in the past though, Iâm not sure. Carry on.
No worries. Sorry if I came off as a bit harsh against you, had been a long day!
Also I messed up earlier, or search/places did and I thought a place wasnât added but it turns out it was. This place should be deleted https://www.ratebeer.com/p/craft-beer-store/76122/ as it already exists (in the correct part of Hamburg)
Sorry.
Done!! thanks
Not at all, it was my misunderstanding, I shouldâve kept my nose out of it; it just looked like a URL concern rather than a name concern. We cannot view last editor userids on breweries as we can with beers, so I was not aware Marko had already fixed 'em up (though I probably should have guessed given his track record!).
Not sure if this is the right place to say but I was tagging some beers earlier and noticed this: https://www.ratebeer.com/tag/create-new-tag-name/
Unless this is some RB meme Iâm not aware of itâs most likely useless and should be deleted.
For Colorado Springs:
Triple S Brewing Company is closed. https://www.ratebeer.com/p/triple-s-brewing-company/55044/
Growler USA dropped their franchising, and are now 719 Gastropub
https://www.ratebeer.com/p/growler-usa-colorado-springs/70935/
https://719gastropub.com/
Done, thanks!
Another Hong Kong place to fix:
https://www.ratebeer.com/p/market-place-by-jasons-quarry-bay/76070/
City should be Hong Kong Island, not Quarry Bay.
Dun, added the coordinates too.
This place has been closed since early 2015:
