I have two other basic updates.
Crocodile Lyleâs - Jim Thorpe, PA - is permanently closed
Red Castle Brewery & Distillery - Lehighton, PA - is permanently closed
Good beers they brew.
Not sure you are gonna like me for this
There is a whole lot of places that dont show up on the map correctly, most likely because there are some special characters in the adress that ratebeer cannot handle correctly:
https://www.ratebeer.com/beermap?p=75837#
I used to fix this kind of stuff but well i guess i cannot anyway
thanks
Took care of the last two requests, and have been chipping away at the places Werckmeister mentioned as time permits, but itâs a long list.
I go through that when I have the time, and right now I donât. There are places that simply werenât on the map. That Chinese taproom was impossible to find on google maps. They are usually findable, tricky, but findable, but when that was added to the site, there was no way in hell of ascertaining the actual location, with the internet not helping at all.
thanks
no rush really I guess, those places have been like that a while, I guess eventually its nice to see them on the map too

Please amend town name to: Bristol - Redfield
Sorry, and thanks!
If you add a hyphen to a city name it stops working. You click on the city and itâll show no places.
OK, perhaps I should explain more - if you search on Places in Gloucestershire then you will see both âBristol - Redfieldâ and âBristol Redfieldâ mentioned. Even though the rated places show in both searches. Same for âBristol - Horfieldâ & âBristol Horfieldâ.
It was my cock up on The Grace, creating the town as âBishopston, Bristolâ instead of âBristol - Bishopstonâ, which already exists.
Itâs daft that places can show in two searches imo. I was just trying to reduce those places to appearing just once on the search, as they were created.
UK admins contacted me and explained that the " - " versions should not be entered and that the comma versions are the preferred choice for them. Just in case youâre wondering why the changes were reverted. Well, pity they didnât see this in time, wouldâve saved work both for me and them.
This should be a thing for all places, not judt the UK. If you click on a city which is hypenated, for instance Woking - Horsell, in Surrey, there will be no places listed. However there are two places there. Does not agree t searches for individual places but if you are looking at a particular area it will. I thought someone had deletes the places when I first noticed it.
There are two pubs but neither are shown:
