I tried logging out and logging in (Safari) a few times and just kept getting a white screen. But I found a way to fix it now which might be useful for other people with Safari issues (i had on both ipad and iphone)
I went into settings and then Safari and did the following…
clicked “clear History and Website data”
went into passwords and cleared any reference to Ratebeer
Did this on both iphone and ipad, opened a fresh safari browser logged in and saved user/pw on each and now seems to work fine on both.
Can this be solved in any other fashion?
I have about 20 pages open in Safari, most with important stuff on them (save the porn jokes, please) and I’d rather not clear my browser history.
We are showing the number of ratings immediately under their screen name. This may be a bug. Would you mind please sharing a screen shot and we can investigate?
Probably UTC/GMT. Shouldn’t matter though, I called for localisation of dates and times relative to our own countries and timezones but very few people cared. I can’t count the number of times I’ve got confused because the date is written in American instead of normal. I think Ratebeer is literally the only site I know that forces dates to American. It’s so stupid, especially on a global site like this. And the fact that times are in UTC (so more relevant to those of us in the UK) only serves to make the date and time format used here to be completely nonsensical. How many American users do we even have living in the UK? They’re the chosen few for whom this is relevant.
