Saddened by passing of Flying Dog founder George Stranahan. Will quaff two or three Double Dogs in his memory.

I have some really old Gonzo that’s probably a bad idea now. George started up some good beer at the time. RIP.

I used to be one of the top 10 raters of Flying Dog. They were a pretty formative brewery for me in my early craft beer days. I also loved collecting the six pack labels.

For some reason 2012 when I started rating Flying Dog was quite common brewery in Finland. Their bottles were everywhere in bars. My first “heavy USA beer” ratings are from Flying Dog and I still remember clearly that Kujo was pretty good!
