Picked up one a bottle of Old Rasputin yesterday, and look what was on the neck hanger. Another brewery to use RateBeer for advertising. Nice!

Older brewers with good ratings still love RB because of their high scores apart of many others (for example, almost every “good” beers on UT seem to have jacked up scores, reducing the difference between good and very good beers)…
Search a newer brewery using RB marketing? You won’t find any. Why? They don’t have enough raters to have good stats because of the weighted score and non-qualified ratings.

But time marches on …
Well when a brewer which opened last year in the most crowded street in Montreal still have those kinds of stats after that time (and they are lucky I entered every beers they released, but still none of my 28 ratings count for them), they say F$%k this, I’m going to UT for any marketing purpose.
