Wednesday 25th until Saturday 28th September (next week). It’s held in a beautiful old church and there are some interesting looking beers, with new breweries for all of us (two not even on the site and one with no beers rated).
Early list is here: Shrewsbury-Beer-Festival-2024-Beer-List-v1.pdf (camra.org.uk)
I shall be there on the Thursday.

I’ll be there, behind the bar, most days - we have a planning meeting this evening so if I catch anything interesting at that I shall post it here. Note that until the beers are at the venue, the posted list cannot be 100% guaranteed - we have had different beers substituted by the breweries last minute at previous festivals …

Would’ve loved to be there raking in the rare trad ticks - plus - shock horror! - TWO count 'em keg beers! However, thankfully there is a local beer fest for me, FIBA which I last attended 12 years ago!

Had a look at the brewery list @minutemat1 and 2 Kats, 3 Monts and De Ranke are the only one’s I’ve had beers from (without checking properly). The Shrewsbury brewery list does have a lot of new breweries to me as well though.

Enjoyed my Saturday visit to this festival (and Shrewsbury in general) last year.
Right up until the time I was ready to return to my hotel in Telford, only to find that the duty signalman at Shrewsbury had gone sick and no trains were running. It was carnage!
Might see if I can make it along this year.

@reidyboy are you going to add the new breweries/cideries and drink all their beers/ciders before the festival or leave it for others to do when and if they rate them?
Asking for a friend.

I added Bragdy Tanat, but no beers yet - waiting to see them physically before doing so, that will hopefully be Tuesday evening. Looking to add the other new breweries when I get chance - but of course, if others want to go ahead and add them that would not be a problem for me … As far as cideries, not my bag really but I’ll see what I can gather together to put on the site.
I do know that the Salopian ‘Rainbow Pride’ is Lemon Dream with added limes - and have heard it called Rainbow Dream also, so don’t know what it actually is yet, we shall see.

Margie, Bertie and I had a lovely afternoon and early evening at this years festival, rain caused havoc though; not at the fest but transport wise later on.
27 different beers taken, 24 of which were new rates, Shropshire and various regions in Wales getting the most hits, great location, good conditioning on all the cask ales, well done Shrewsbury CAMRA.
