I found the Pittsburgh locations to feel corporate-like and had an inkling that this headline would be about them. I’m not sure what the Sly Fox structure is like but I’m not sure this represents the people behind Sly Fox rather than these 2 Pittsburgh locations specifically.

Can’t say that I was much of a fan of theirs to begin with. Disappointing news that they were pulling this crap. Glad that they are being penalized. Still surprised that they have any locations here let alone 2. Completely irrelevant locally as far as I can tell.

I still wouldn’t say no to a Pikeland Pils. But the Pittsburgh locations are definitely not something I’d look to revisit on a trip back to the city.

Huh, the PGH locations (and the Malvern one) weren’t even on RB. Added them now FWIW.

From this release, it looks like s’fox is getting valuable business publicity from a negative exposeh. Think it could increase its lucrativeness, at least in the short term?

So much for my local attention span, I wasn’t even aware they had a location here.

Welp, if the staff who was denied full just the tips got some money (unsure), and the management punished in any way (also unsure), all’s well that ends well or something (unlikely but hey).
