Btw, I think it’s great that we include sake on this site. It could all be done much better, but that’s a different story. The price of sake in the UK makes me want to cry, though. Or at least snicker.

That is an interesting label, btw. The name, 福正宗 / フクマサムネ is only written on the bottle that the woman is holding in the picture. This is the export only label, completely different to the Japanese label. Good sake though.
And you drank almost 2 liters of this high ABV stuff?
Shared with the wife over a few days. I generally avoid the 1.8 liter bottles for that reason, but this one was gifted.
And just to give you an idea, this goes for about $17 here.

I doubt I will ever get anywhere near those sort of totals, even if I wanted too. I am sure it would be fun trying though, if I had a shit load of money and traveled to Japan for a mega drinking session.
