Back from my week in Northumberland Friday so might pop in for one or two.

I am in Croydon during the day, but hoping to pick up some cans/bottles from Fresh Field Market from there to drink in the evening. But I might have to stop off at Tonbridge for the Fuggles Beer Bar on the way home, so might be online later, about 8pm.

Going to have a quiet night in this Friday, and weekend (2 weeks of Tap Takeovers/events coming up in Copenhagen from next week on lead up to MBCC) so may join you guys for a quiet virtual beer

Hi Ian, some gen (in case you are not aware) - a company which operates 2 x great bottle shops in Streatham has just opened a new bar in Croydon last week in Surrey Street Market not far from Fresh Field Market, no idea if they do bottles to take away like their other bottle shops or not but may be worth a look…
@wingmanwillis or @Scopey might of visited (unless its new gen for them as well) so can maybe give some more detail on this new place

Good call. I am in Croydon for work so my time in bars may be limited but it’s worth sticking my head in to see what they have.
I’ve been invited to a card night so will be on here at about 21:00 when I’ve lost all my money.

It’s a 0.5% brew I bought when coming out of bright sunlight without my glasses on. I don’t usually buy low alcohol beers but I didn’t check the ABV before this got home!
Pouring it into a ‘Judas’ glass, just for giggles and kicks.
Using an old metal opener with IND COOPE’S DOUBLE DIAMOND stamped on it, how old is that?
