I like
Anderson Valley Winter Solstice
Highland Brewing Cold Mountain Ale
Great Lakes Christmas
Definitely Sierra Nevada Celebration. They nailed the spice balance this year.
Schloss Eggenberg Samichlaus Classic
Gordon Xmas
Het Anker Gouden Carolus Nöel
St Feullien Noel and Herslev Stjernebryg
They’re all gross.
Agree… unless they are boozy!
yeah far better to stick with the pumpkin ones
Het Anker Noel is fantastic and perhaps the best Belgian Christmas beer, at least for what makes it to the states. It ages wonderfully. I have had it with ten years of aging and it could have been aged longer.
None!
sorry it was just too tempting a reply
Not sure if it’s supposed to be a Christmas beer, but Pipeworks Pastrami on Rye was amazing.
For sure St Feuillien Cuvée de Noël is really good. Unfortunately I’ve not tasted Herslev Stjernebryg
I agree with you
I like these, but I con’t really think of a single one that stands out to me.
I remember liking Captain Lawrence Nor’ Easter Winter Warmer haven’t had in years though.
As far as ones I have regular access to? Probably Prairie Christmas BOMB!
De Ranke Pere Noel is easily my favorite with recent batches of Prairie Christmas Bomb coming close.
I used to go here every year: http://www.kerstbierfestival.be/ENG/
They try to get every single Chritmas beer brewed in Belgium each year.
St Bernardus used to be the beer to beat, don’t remember any being better though.

Nice choices and I love the thistle shaped glassware of Gordon’s.
