What ya drinkin' part XXI

I’m sure that if it was fresh, the results would be different.

I’ve had beers from Pisgah, Old Hickory, Carolina, Duck Rabbit, Highland…so I know it’s the age doing the damage.

Of course I have no doubt you’re right.
Not a fanboy per se but it seems like it would age well.

Maybe. Under the right conditions.

An older bottle. Dark chocolate bitterness, astringent, probably was at least good fresh.

Maybe you experts can help me with the date code please.
9029
I understand —9 means 2019, -02- means 2nd week of the year.
But no day of that week ends in 9.
Is it just 01/09 then or do they start with the first 7 day week of the year, in which case it’s 1/19?
Of course a week doesn’t matter but I’m rusty with import dating conventions.
Thanks!

SOUNDS FUCKIN YUMMy.

For example, 7038 translates to the 7 being the 7th or 17th, 03 is 3rd week of the year, and 8 is 2008 so it was bottled on January 17, 2008. This information came directly from the brewer.

That’s what I got from Got Fresh Beer. Apply that.
