So this is Cold IPA…
This one has rice in the malt bill and tastes a little lager-y.
Not bad though.
Fresh add (as IPA - no CIPA style listing as yet)

Anyone else having problems with login from the home or new beer page?
Wasn’t able to post my rating of that one.

My memory tells me that cold IPAs are lagers - and go under IPL - not guaranteeing that without a recheck, but I think that’s the case

“There are a few steps along the way that make the Cold IPA unique. First, the malt used is designed to provide a lighter body. This could be Pilsner malt, corn, rice, etc. And while IPA is an ale, the Cold IPA uses lager yeast but it is still fermented warm as an ale.”

" On one hand, the beer social network Untappd doesn’t list it as a style—brewers like Zimmerman have to file their cold IPAs under IPL"

Another can of Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Milk Stout that I sometimes get very inexpensively from Walmart; a six pack for the price of a single can of a lot of the pastry stouts; maybe I should change my username to “UnwillingToGoFarForBeer”!

Added to the database.
Look and body is below par, smell exceeded taste. Still, I enjoyed it because I dig the cocktail.

Citrusy and sort of floral.
Mediocre overall.
Also, cowboy hats, sheriff’s stars and printed circuit boards??
