What ya drinkin’ part XXIII (Part 2)

Well aged Firestone Mocha Merlin (5.5% ABV) canned 9/21/17 from my son in law and daughter’s beer fridge while I dogsit a couple nights. Still totally drinkable.

Everything should be in tiny cans.

This made me do a search around for information about this brew. Quite interesting.

“closely related to sahti, maltøl, gruit & mead; sometimes classified as drikke”

So big 16oz can of a light 13.4%er swiped from my daughter on my last dog sitting night. Canned 9/24/2020 can 214/2500! It says “Keep cold, Drink fresh” but I think it’s better than the first time I had a can in 12/2020 (Christmas present from my daughter). Sierra Nevada Bigfoot I always liked much better 3 or 4 years old.

First 12ozers clear, trying to add the final 4oz lots of dregs! Well aged can probably not moved in years! Doesn’t matter at all!

Surprisingly delicious though I had to work at getting to the beer. Cork crumbled so I pushed it into the bottle and strained it with each pour. Looks to be like a quart bottle…
