Forgot to mention Bourbon Penultimate Push, New Glarus Strawberry Rhubarb, and BA Christmas Bomb. All super fucking solid. Waiting on opening this Bourbon Huna which will likely trump every beer I’ve named thus far.

Mine was the NW Citra DIPA.
But the Labatts Max Tropics Charge courtesy of Macboost was the standout beer for me.

If I had to pick, I’d go with the Aardwolf and the Burnt Hickory. I love those breweries but was sort of unexpectedly blown away by how good both of those beers were.

Best thing I had this year was the Almanac Grand Cru Red Ed. 2. First and only 5/5 I’ve given. Best local thing I’ve had was Garage Project Mutiny on the Bounty.

I had several standouts this year but the most outstanding has to be Sweetwater Triple Tail IPA.
Originally released as a new summer seasonal, I understand they have already decided to make it year-round.

Definitely the hoppy Monkish beers I’ve had (except the Omnipollo collab which they ruined by throwing cookies in). Beyond Atomically was jaw dropping. One of the best hoppy beers I’ve had, full stop.

Marble and Wylam have both really impressed this year… Marble just nudging ahead on the strength of their incredible BA imperial stouts, but actually, it’s insane how many new, but consistently excellent releases both of those breweries are chucking out at the moment. Hard to keep up!
