That moment that random breweries in small regions around the world start getting emails from RB users from all over the world looking for deez tickz.
“Who are you again? And you want me to mail beer to where??”

Well yeah, hardly ever see South American stuff over in Europe so most of us will require actually visiting, or cross continent trades maybe.
For those fortunate to live within the EU, Beerdome.nl are regularly bringing over some top Brazilian beers.
Indeed. Been pleasantly surprised by some of these new Brazilian breweries I had never heard off before they started getting them last year. For info for anyone that needs any regions, worked out there is 8 regions covered by the 72 beers/17 breweries currently online there for sale…
Bahia
Ceará
Minas Gerais
Paraná
Rio de Janeiro
Rio Grande do Norte
Rio Grande do Sul
São Paulo
Even here most of the Latin American stuff barely shows up. In Florida I’m just starting to see a few Mexican craft beers show up, but few and far between.
Brazil and Argentina equally rare, but occasionally show up.
Japas (brewed in the US) but technically Brazilian is easy to get in NYC…
Yes I was lucky enough to pick up two Switzerland Cantons from beers received from @Koelschtrinker with the Euro Swap last Autumn. I’ve still not seen a beer from Switzerland in the UK, and its been nearly a year of rating now.
Tickers gonna tick!
I’m up to 50 regions visited feeling good there.
Ya I got 51 and may pick up a Polish one still
I think I have one more from Italy
To be fair, the Brazilian beers I bought from hoptimaal drives me crazy. Seems all to be designed for 5-year olds, As much as I am trying to avoid them it seems like they’re all coconut pastry stouts, sport drink sours or, in best case hazy triple IPA. Hopefully this is all about importers catering tio Untappd style pre-teen market, and not an indicator of Brazilian craft at the moment.
My friend did a trade with a Brazilian visiting NYC and got 15 Brazilian pastry stouts…
At least the sours I had were made using native fruits i’d never heard of which adds at least some interest for me.
I believe there was a guava cheesecake sour as well
So the Brazilian scene is as per any other country’s scene at the moment?
True, there was some that were not very impressive, but at the other end of the scale - I remember these 2 lots of us rated very highly (especially the Augustinus pastry stout)

A couple of us are updating all the Polish breweries at the moment so you may see your region count rising if you have rates there. Think we’re about halfway through them all as of right now, there’s already many users who have all 16 voivodeships. One of the easier countries to complete if you have access to Polish beers.
I see @TedE seems to have snagged 9 out of the 8 Australian regions:
Not obvious to me where the error is.It’ll probably be a brewery he’s rated without a state assigned. Database query is probably counting unique states and not ignoring empty ones. I’ll have a quick look through but may need services to find the culprit.
This. I saw the same when I did Switzerland where my own count was one higher than it was supposed to be until I assigned my last brewery to a region.
