My military buddies and I used to do the Cochem tour back in early 2000s in Germany. While there wasn’t an individual place open to drink 24 hours, we had found a pattern of places that had alcohol for 24 hour period (Club, gasthaus, doner kebab shops, restaurants, ect).

I know Cochem very well, never managed to drink 24 hours, but I tend to drink wine while there. First went in 1974 and been going back ever since, last time was May this year!
Not really the same as the original post though.
We in the RAF had a Gibraltar ‘Happy Hour’ circuit back in the 80’s and you could certainly drink all day and night if you had the stamina.
