BotM October 24 is Cider

Brannland Iscider 33 Brix 2017 - very sippale, sweet, concentrated apples, apple pie, with balanced acidity.

I’ve now added the #ciderinsider tag to the German and European ciders in the book, which updates the leader board to:

It wouldn’t be cider’s month without including something from Tom Oliver - this is his Vintage Fine Cider Aged in American Oak Barrels Season 2022 - appley, oaky, with drying tannins, nicely drinkable at 9.5%

I’ve now added the #ciderinsider tag to the 23 American and Canadian ciders in the CiderInsider book, which updates the leader board to:

While I question some of this list I do appreciate the spotlight it gives & the trouble you went through to add the tags.

Cheers.

Just an hour left of October here. Can anybody tell whether there’s been a visible bump in cider ratings this month? Or is this normal service from @danlo?

11hrs go go here.
Liked this one way better then I thought I would.

Also had another quince cider after this one but forgot to take a pic. Love the Quince Tag.

4 and 1/2 hours to go here - although Oct is already gone in Oz, am revisting a Plenty Apple + Quince cider from Tasmania, nice jammy quince flavours.

#ciderinsider Tag also added for Oz, NZ and a SA cider in the CiderInsider book, no change in the top rated or leader board

Cidre Bouché from a small farmhouse producer with a Raclette, Saucisse de Mortea and potato pizza. Been cycling and swimming a lot recently so need the calories!

For me it’s my third highest cider monthly total with 72 ciders in the month (as well as Cider being BotM, the Nottingham Fest helped alot with that), not sure how to check for increased cider ratings overall for Oct

I’m jealous of the access you have to French Ciders now!

And you’re already not far off being top French cider rater:
