BREWERS: Issues Reporting - Please Post Here for modifications

I’m pretty sure it’s called BRAUEREI BIG BEER COMPANY now…they changed their company name but they kept their Clausel beer brand (which have its own website)

…unless the Brewery is still registered as Letzebuerger Stad Brauerei S.A. and only the Place name is Big Beer Company…

if they still use Letzebuerger Stad Brauerei on their current beer label, we might need it as the brewer name or put both in the brewer name…

Exactly. The place’s name is Big Beer Company, but the brewery’s Letzebuerger Stad Brauerei. Just check the site of the Big Beer Company: https://bigbeercompany.lu/en/welcome/ and compare it to the one of the LSB: https://clausel.lu/

Can someone confirm that they still use Letzebuerger Stad Brauerei (L.S.B.) name on their labels currently?
(btw, UT also use the name Brasserie Clausel as brewer name…could it be that now too?)

From one of the two bottles I bought yesterday:

I added this brewery and subsequently realised that there is no apostrophe.

In hindsight the Real Ale bit could potentially be deleted to as it makes adding beers a ball ache.

This brewer has changed their name, apparently they’re now called Settlement Brewing:

Someone wants to investigate which brewery this is?

Sorted.

This brewery has snuffed it - did post about it on the UK forum but must have been overlooked:

Dancing Cows appear to have been concentrating on gin and liquor in recent years. Untappd check-ins suggest that beer was only available in small bottled batches from their shop, with no mention of it on their website or social media. I messaged them a couple of years ago and they didn’t bother responding. Website is no longer up and now liquidated.

Here are two that may have been missed on the UK form or alternatively admins looked at my request and thought, “What is the dickhead going on about now.”

  1. The new Level 2 Covid-19 restrictions in Elmbridge, Surrey, (must be all the wife swingers in Weybridge and Cobham splattering each other with more than just spunk) reminded me of this one. And having now ticked off all the existing Surrey breweries it pains me to suggest adding one but Burner Bash are listed as being in Thames Ditton, Greater London on Ratebeer. Only Thames Ditton is in Elmbridge:

Burner Bash’s website just mentions South London and can’t find any other details. Although pretty sure the brewery ceased brewing around Autumn 2019.

  1. Adventure brewery are down as a retired Surrey brewery, but Chessington is in the London Borough of Kingston:

The following cidery is no longer in production:

Instead they are writing children’s books (how quaint!) as per their website:

This beer appears to appear twice:

This is the version I am ablout to drink, although it’s now 5.9% ABV: https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/by-the-horns-hefeweizen/795210/

However there is a another brewery in the US with the same name: https://www.ratebeer.com/beer/by-the-horns-hefeweizen/784387/

Should the breweries have (UK) and (US) added after their names?

Apologies, error in adding this one, should be Cornwall not Bedfordshire! please correct to Cornwall.

A whole lot of oddness going on with this brewery and its beers. All beers capitalised (possible correct), all have have been hyphenated and the beers have had the brewery itself added as the contract brewery.

Non of the beers have been verified yet by a Japanese Admin, so I would expect some big changes to how the beers are set up. However all the reviewers appear to be English, it does make you wonder how Japanese this is, quite possibly an English Importer renaming Japanese brewed beers.

This brewery appears to have shut in 2027…

Checked all my 50 Australian breweries if they have been added to a state, found 2 without:

https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/barrow-boys-brewing/19920/
Actually is no longer in business but was located in North Melbourne, Victoria.

https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/two-elk-cider/14859/
This is difficult. Seems out of business, says brewed and bottled in Sweden but only available in Australia? Twitter account states Sydney as location. Who wants to do some digging?

Thanks.

I’m confused, webpage shows events in this weekend in 2020. https://wildbullbrewery.com.au/

Was it an error for it to be shut at all?
