Drive down to Devon saw us stop at Gloucester Servces on the M5 and me buying six expensive beers for drinking on my return to the UK.
I started ticking Cider, Mead and Saki in 2018 and managed another ‘tick’ while at my bro’s.
It was then up to London for the night before our flight, this time in South Tottenham at my other brothers place; one of his cats wanted to come with us!

I also popped into an Off Licence and bought two different 650ml bottles of beers from the DR of Congo (will be a new country, once I return and drink them).
One new rate in Terminal 2 and we are off.
Now in Orange County and planning beery stuff in between my Grandfather babysitting duties. The fridge already holds some new rates as I visited a supermarket on my way to pick up my Granddaughter from Pre-School earlier today.

Would you mind sharing the location of this offie? I wasn’t aware that DR Congo beer was available in the UK and would like to add it to my list of beer countries.

@YantarCoast It was on West Green Road, just north of Seven Sisters Tube Station and diagonally across the road from True Craft. Small place, called something like Caribbean Off Licence.

Visited a Trader Joe’s today (it’s a Californian based Supermarket chain that specialises in own brand produces, often with healthy and ethical products). Their beer selection isn’t great, but it’s good value and always gives me a few new rates to buy; nine this time.
Hopefully be hitting a bar or two over the weekend, Grandfather duties willing. Otherwise I will attack the bottles and cans I have cooling in the house.

Not sure … I’m off to a mates birthday in Nantwich in the evening but looking for a few county place rates on the way so possibly doing Merseyside also.
Went to a ‘Fund Raising Event’ on Saturday at a Pizza joint (two new rates). Sunday we visited three interesting places; Lyon Air Museum, Barley Forge Brewery and the Gunwhale Tasting Room.
The two tap rooms are 50 yards apart. Barley Forge does food and is very family oriented , Gunwhale has no food and specialises in IPA’s and Farmhouse beers. 10 beers drank in each.

With the recent wet weather a rare phenomenon takes place in the canyons and hills near Lake Elsinore. The usually baron landscape comes into a Super Bloom.

1 Day without Alcohol.
Rained every day bar one. Haven’t been to the beach yet (nearest is only about ten miles away), haven’t visited a proper ‘beer shop’ yet (I have written an import list for here: https://www.ratebeer.com/p/total-wine-more-laguna-hills-laguna-hills/34785/, my second visit will be for US beers.)
