Had a pint of Fright of the Garter from Windsor and Eton, it’s a obviously a re-badge of this : Windsor & Eton Knight of the Garter • RateBeer
Could someone alias them please, cheers.

I’m not seeing a Windsor & Eton Fright of the Garter Jeremy?
W&E are amongst the worst offenders for re-badging in the UK.
I’ve had it verbally from one of the founders when I used to live in Windsor years back and funny enough bumped into a former brewer a few months back who confirmed the same has carried on over the years.
I think John is saying it’s not on RB
You want it aliasing … you need to add it
There’s a shit ton of admin work out there Jeremy without us having to add beers that someone may encounter as a duplicate
User role
Oh, OK, I didn’t add it because I knew it was a duplicate.
Sorry.
I wont add it.

No worry
But good that there is awareness via this thread that W&E are master re-badgers so approach them at your peril!
I’ve just added the general re-badge factor to the brewery description.
It may help the diligent rater at some point!
Yeah, I remember having this one back in Nov 22, also noticed it same time last year as well, must be a rebadge around Halloween each year it seems
Talking about aliases…
Read something about Hobsons Free IPA being brewed in Poland and looked it up on here. We have this odd description on here:

Should it not be aliased to this:
And on another note. When that reincarnation of Truman went bankrupt they changed their name to Big Penny. The name change was because the Truman brand name was sold to the people that own the old brewery site. So new beers may appear branded Trumans, but these are commissioned via Brockley. Thought I would mention it as something to look out for. Some recent Truman beers added under Bug Pennt may have been added under the wrong brewery.
I had a Cotleigh beer on Monday, and see that Nuttycombe have resurrected both the Cotleigh and RCH brands.
If the Cotleigh and RCH beers are added under Nuttycombe you could have a situation where the one RCH beer is on here three tomes - under RCH, that short-lived brewery that replanted RCH, and then under Nuttycombe. Would it be better to just unretire the two breweries and add details about the new ownership.
Please could the description of this:

have (Cask) added as a suffix? They offer the same beer in can form at 6% and I think the cask version was maybe specially produced for Nottingham Beer Festival
I see Banks’s brewery is bing shut and 8 different cask beers will cease to be brewed. A sad day for fans of cheap pissy beer.
Hopshackle Brewery closed in 2023

The recipes have been bought by Bowlers, and beers are now brewed there.
Elvet Cidery in Durham has sadly closed down - see facebook post - status needs updated to closed
This Irish brewery is closed according to untappd. Also, their website is offline and they haven’t had any social media activity for two years.
Bucktrouts aren’t a brewery - their one beer is just rebadged Liberation Best. Although it’s still on here as Liberation Bailwick Best anway. Presumably the beer should be aliased to the original beer. And Bucktrouts deleted- - CLEAnSE the RebADGers.

That’s a shame about Hopshackle. In the early days of our beer festival in Merton for at least two or three years we used to go and pick up beers from Nigel and also Oakham who were close by. We even parked up the campervan on his drive one night and went out with him and his friend the vicar for a few beers around Stamford one evening.
Is it too later to ruin peoples County stats. Twisted Wheel are now based in Kent, sharing with McCanns (a brewers that have not been added to Ratebeer).at Hukins Hop Farm.
