How many raters does it take to make a million (part 4)

Can we keep the bug reports on bug-report threads, please. Let’s keep the thread on the stats, even if those stats are saying “ratebeer’s haemorrhaging raters”.

Apologies Phil, you’re right. Sorry to have started this off-topic phase.

NP. The thread creep was slow and organic, it’s easy to see how and why it occurred.

What’s the average daily rates of these top ~800 users?

Sorry, youre right.

That’s the “work done per day per rater”, the final table and graph, but as you see I’ve split the 800 into the 5 different bands.

Sorry I missed that, cheers. Not yet at 2500 myself but will be there in the next few months. Although the 1m band is far beyond my reach I’m currently doing more than enough to stay in the other bands if I get there, so I suspect I will overtake many who have slowed down or are no longer active.

Nice. I’m rapidly approaching 3000 rates so depending on the speed of everyone else currently ahead of me I reckon I should finally be within the bounds for 5mil by the time you next update us.

9, on the UT.

Just for you, I’ll shuffle off my laziness, and update my charts…

[later…]

With tons of hand-waving, here are the rates that are currently needed to stay in a band:
top 1m - 2443/yr
1m-2m - 1648/yr
2m-3m - 1282/yr
3m-4m - 953/yr
4m-5m - 698/yr
It’s hard to get oo much sense from the charts because as top raters drop into lower bands, they not only make the lower bands look like they’re doing more work each (because a fast guy has joined their ranks), but also make the band they’ve left look like its members are doing more work each (because a relatively slow guy has joined their ranks).

Crap. I’m out soon…

Me too, too soon. Of course, I could cheat, and start hitting the backlog, but I’m after the glory of a high ranking, I’m just after the boost!

This made me check and I’m #426 4 rates behind Belgianbeergal so close to being mister 4M. Turns out she’s in Florida as well perhaps our paths will meet.

Oh hey I did a thing a long time ago! Where was my @??

With my current backlog I should be able to jump back into the top 2mil!
