Making a bit of an effort to do a few different beer fests this year, with the lack of GBBF, which I normally do 3 days at.

Heading to Tamworth on Fri 6 SEP with @RichTheVillan and @SarkyNorthener

@wingmanwillis will also be there in a volunteer capacity

Probably do a couple of Tamworth pubs after

Tamworth was my longest-standing fest, did 16 in a row I think, then not been for last 10 years. Got a few hours credit at work so could bunk the afternoon off and come down… will see how list looks for new breweries, is it still Ray doing the order?

I’ll know a fair few folks there (ex trains) but don’t know the set up / staff

UK-wise I’m more about new breweries than new beers, but will have a look at the list and take a view

I am hoping to be there, not sure which day as yet as I have to fit it in with something else. Looking forward to the list.

Damn. Bad weekend for me. And ive not dome the Tamworth Tap yet. Enjoy.

Beer list is here

I’m pretty sure that Tamworth Tap is opening earlier on Thursday (2pm) and Friday (12).

Also check out the Bank House and Kings Ditch in town as well.

I should be around on all days. It"s a nice little fest, the venue is smart and has aircon!

Solid festival … plenty new ticks to keep me occupied and 5 new breweries I think.

Also lots of room on Friday in terms of table spaces.

On the rate beer front (that I was aware of) … @wingmanwillis @RichTheVillan @SarkyNorthener and the legendary Ticker Terry (DJ). And @simon47574 was a late arrival so our paths didn’t cross.

I’ll be back!
