Precisely, but it definitely uses adjuncts, cacao nibs at the very least. The ceased and desisted batch (the last one) had “double the amount of cacao nibs” according to Henok (I can’t find this quote right now but I’ll have a look for it). I believe the peanut butter flavouring is, like the vast majority of peanut flavoured beers, a flavour extract, rather than actual nuts, hence why it’s ok for nut allergy sufferers. I’d still class that as an adjunct. I believe it also has vanilla in it but again, can’t find my source for this. I have an empty bottle with the label still on somewhere so I’ll try and find it and provide some sort of “proof” for what I just said. I could have sworn it had various ingredients listed but I could be wrong.
I agree with Iznogud that it should be in the flavored style on RB.
EDIT: Ok so I found my bottle. Turns out lactose is the only adjunct listed. However, Yellow Belly Sundae, which is the same beer but barrel aged, does in fact list all the adjuncts (cacao nibs, lactose, vanilla beans, peanut aroma, biscuit aroma) so I’m attaching a photo of that:
EDIT 2: Instagram post where Henok said “added cacao nibs and vanilla” which supports the “double the amount of cacao” I’d parroted before. OMNIPOLLO®️👄 on Instagram: "🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑👁👁🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑Just stocked the OMNIPOLLO®️ ONLINE🌍BEER🍺STORE (link in bio) with FINAL 2019 VINTAGE ”ceased and desisted” BATCH OMNIPOLLO®️ 😵 BUXTON YELLOW BELLY PEANUT🥜 BUTTER BISCUIT 🍪 STOUT (11%). Fun fact: added cocoa nibs and vanilla. Not so fun fact: final batch. #omnipollo #buxtonbrewery #beereverything"
The “doesn’t contain peanut or biscuits” point is in regard to it using those “aromas” … whatever that means, presumably a flavour extract. But even if not counting those as adjuncts the cacao and vanilla are.
