In my campaigns to change beer styles, I have avoided marking things with chocolate or caramel malt as flavored. Chocolate, Caramel and Coffee stouts are tricky because it is unclear if they contain flavoring adjuncts. Sometimes research needs to be done.

Ya I’ve only been adding the ones that expressly say “added vanilla beans” or “XX kilos of coffee” for the most part, though there were a couple there with chocolate malt I put on that list
