BREWERS: Issues Reporting - Please Post Here for modifications

Just added this new brewery and realised that it also operates as a micropub so should have added it as a brewpub:

Cheers.

Question RE: Field & Oak Brewing (Spontaneous brewery that is sort of part of Kane Brewing - newish as in just started selling beers under this label about 6 months ago). Should they be split out from Kane in a Bruery & Bruery Terreux type manner? Is there a simple way to do this?

I went in to add some of their beers and noticed a few already existed under Kane, but I’m wondering if the Bruery Terreux-like contract brewer setup would make more sense?

https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/kane-brewing-company/13267/

Here’s their exisiting beers on RB at this point:

Any admins have any thoughts on this?

These are not actually breweries, just spam:

Blackout Curtains - Imperial Rooms (ratebeer.com)

Fine Wine Accessories Shop for Home Bar Accessories (ratebeer.com)

None of Ludlow’s Derailed beers have actually been placed under this brewery, they’re all just under the Ludlow page:

Derailed Brewing Co (ratebeer.com)

A test brewery – did someone forget to delete it?

I think putting them under Kane is the correct thing to do.

Could you please merge this brewery entry:
https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/altinfici-brewery/43491/
into this one:
https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/altinfici-brewery-3-kafadar/37734/
It’s a double entry, please move the single beer under the first one to the second while merging.
Thank you!

This should be German Beverage Group

https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/german-beverage/47062/

Ther is a new chain called Chuck lager’s American Tavern and they ahve their own house beers. I did not see any brewing equipment. It is owned by a big entertainment group BSR (https://bsrbranding.com/ ) that also owns two other breweries (Trademark and Tarantula Hill). I could not find anything about who brews for the Chuck Lager chain, and their locations are diverse, so it is likely being doe at a broader scale. I entered it here for admins to see what they can find out ( https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/goto/47446/). If this is not the right place, please delete it.

" BSR created micro-brands and the naming for each of these varieties with more beers slated to launch quarterly."

I expect these are likely to be locally contracted beers. “The Colby’s also wanted to sell their own brand of white label beers on tap.”

" What is White Label Beer?

White labelling is simply taking your product and rebranding it for someone else’s use. We get white label tenders for anything from a private party through to a chain of bars. Using your exisitng beer recipes, or surplus stock you can create a new revenue stream for your brewery. From bottles and cans to kegs, you provide the beer and they’ll provide the new branding. It’s that simple."

This will be a nightmare to keep track of

Sounds good, I will keep doing it that way. Just figured I’d ask now so as to not create lots of extra work as the Field & Oak list grows.

This lot are still around but now under a new name - Refresco Drinks Ltd:

35p for a rate ain’t bad.

Casita Cerveceria needs to be cleaned up, delete “cerveceria” from all the names following our naming convention here:
https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/casita-cerveceria/25321/

I’ve seen this a couple of times when Spanish-themed breweries open in the U.S. and Canada. Cerveceria just means brewery. If we could get it so that gets automatically deleted when adding new beers to ANY Spanish-named brewery, that would be amazing, but then again I’ve been saying that for years.

Also this whole brewery needs to be deleted and merged.

This :https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/wunderkammer-biermanufaktur/46767/
merge to this:
https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/wunderkammer-bier/29797/

And delete all teh biermanufaktur in the name of the five moved over

Maybe this brewery

https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/konix-brewery/26502/

should have (Hoppy Union - Carlsberg) added to its name, given that Carlsberg recently bought a 75% stake in it via its subsidiary Hoppy Union.

Source: Carlsberg êóïèë 75% ðîññèéñêîé êðàôòîâîé ïèâîâàðíè Konix Brewery

What do you think @vinivini, @alex_leit ?

Note that on Untappd it is already listed as a “Subsidiary of Carlsberg Group”

Yes, it makes sense. Corrected to (Carlsberg) because Hoppy Union is not well known. Thanks!

Hop Butcher for the World are down as a Client Brewer… presumably it should have been Contract Brewery once?

Anyway it would appear that they’ve moved and now have their own brewery:

1000 N Frontage Rd, Darien, IL 60561, United States

https://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/kykao/36192/
I would like to change beer names from:
Kykao - American Pilsner

To:
Kykao American Pilsner

As it is now, collabs are listed last, not first in the beer list.
I can do the job and «rename» all beers.
Anyone who do not agree?

This is the address of Miskatonic Brewery, where they currently contract brew. And as a reminder, client brewer is the correct designation of breweries who brew at other breweries facilities on RB. Contract brewery is used for breweries that exclusively brew other beers for other breweries.

The changes seem to have all been made by somebody associated to the brewery, so I think it’s just another associated user not understanding how we operate rather than any particular reason.

Ah, I see they moved some time in 2017 or something. Great. Fixed everything, retired stuff, fixed the breweries that contract brewed there (and retired two of them).
