Got a great box from @TomHendriksen today. 15 Dutch beers which are not available for sale in other countries, including some pretty local stuff, even a beer from his home village! Tom was kind enough to also send me some goodies like a nice piece of glassware and Dutch candy. Also a very friendly letter explaining where he got the beers. Needless to say, I am totally satisfied and looking forward to trying all this rare stuff.

Tom took great measures to make sure the package arrived safely, he even made sure to make it 100% Covid free.

Picked up box from @rhoihessegold earlier today. Box was opened by courier and broken bottle(s)(?) removed, but pretty likeable haul anyways (lots of heavy bocks, slurps…)

Wow what box - 15,4 kg, super selection of locals, many bocks, a few porter and stouts (hard to get in Germany), a Scot and an Eisbock.

A personal letter, some guide books covering the home area - Saarland.

Christmas sweets like German ginger bread, cinnamon stars, chocolate hearts and a jar of local honey.

Gabriel was also a hero in handpicking a big bag of eatable chestnuts, will plant a few and roast some.

Good to see it got there, I hope I got your preferences right. The two homebrews can be found on Untappd under Valdemarsgade Ol og Likorfremstilling - one is a saison (called I don’t need smoke to make myself disappear) the other an imperial stout (called Springtime in Uganda).
